Burlap Banner

I wanted to make a warm, rustic banner for our mantel for the month of November. Something that reminds me of Fall, Thanksgiving, harvest, etc. I decided to use burlap. Burlap isn't the plain old brown it once was. Now it comes in so many colors and prints. I picked out two prints and one color.

Using card stock, I made a pattern, traced and cut.  

To bind the banner together, I used bias tape. I placed each banner piece in between the two folds of the bias tape. I then pinned the pieces secure.

Here's what it looks like all pinned together. Once pinned, sew and you are done! So easy and quick.

And, pretty cute!
