Gratitude Hearts

This year in my Relief Society, we focused on having more gratitude in our life.  Our theme for the year was taken from this quote from an early pioneer woman, Sister Helen Mar Whitney:

"The Love of God flowed from heart to heart, 'til the wicked one seemed powerless in his efforts to get between us and the Lord; and his cruel darts, in some instances, were shorn of their sting."

Gratitude can empower us, give us hope, and bind us together.  As we feel God's love and recognize His hand in our life, we can better share that love to others.   We just need to take the opportunity each day to be thankful and share that with another.  Every Sunday in our ward, we would share these experiences in our meetings and write them down on red hearts.  We then sewed them together to show how God's love had indeed  "flowed from heart to heart".  During this time of Thanksgiving,  your family can also share the joy of gratitude by creating your own gratitude hearts!  See how long your chain can grow and how your home can be transformed with the joy of inviting gratitude into your heart.

Our chain grew quite large in our Relief Society, here is just a portion!
